’24 – I Tried to Disappear but Nobody Noticed’ was a temporary installation exhibited in the ‘Noorderlicht Residency Box’. This work utilized objects from my personal bathroom, presenting them in a manner that contextualized these items with visual documentation of my lived experience at age 24. This experience primarily involved solitary days spent in a small tenement bathroom.

’24’ serves as a contemporary exploration of the impact of lockdowns and the associated mental health crisis. The installation offers insight into a series of self-portraits that were subsequently developed during the period following this experience.
